Shorts are fine in water and just the right padding for the bike after the swim. I find them a little long for running but definitely better than the 8" inseam shorts which are way too long for running. The Zoot highlight comes off too easily after a handful of washes. Shorts are overpriced at $70.Very comfortable shorts. I used them on 3 different races this year of varying length (oly, 70.3 and IM) and they worked really well. They have a tight pocket on each side of the hip that can fit 1-2 gels each, for the run. I couldn't feel the gels in the pockets and they were pretty easy to get out. Great shorts for a tri.It is very confortable I tested it for a 50 KM raid and fits perfect, colors, size and design Is a little fit so consider the righrt size for you I thing the small is just if you are really slimThe pad is discrete but well designed and resistentGreat value. No need to break them in. They are ready to race as soon as you get them. Draw string if needed, but the fit on the waist is accurate. Two side pouches (small) big enough for Gu packets.Zoot quality, what else can you say? I love Zoot, and these shorts did great for me. Pad is thin and flexible and they dry quickly. Seams are hidden pretty well and there is no hotspots or rubbing.I ordered a size up, and they're great. Kind of odd to need to order a size up; after all, if you are actually a tri-athlete, you are going to have large thighs and a big butt, no?It took a little time getting used to wearing fitted shorts when running, because I was used to looser running clothes. It is a nice compromise between the 3 events in a tri.Fit great and function perfectly. Enough padding for the bike without interfering with the swim or run.overall great triathlon shorts for summer, fit nicely and dry fast. The only problem is that not day 3 of wearing the seam went bad and I had to sue it manually. I would not expect Zoot shorts to break after 3 days! But because that was the last pair I kept it and didn't return.
