The waist is a little low on these--especially compared to most triathlon shorts--so don't expect to be able to pull them up much under your top. I'm 5'8" and usually a size 8, so I often go with Medium in sizing. These mediums are really tight, so I tried the 2XU large in another model. Of course, those were too big on me. Because of the awkward sizing, I'll probably stick with Craft, Pearl Izumi, or Zoot in the future.
