Developed through decades of experience, the SilverLine Short has been totally redesigned with a new woven and textured fabric that keeps the body cool while offering high compression. The shorts are constructed of a textured woven fabric which wraps the leg with two panels. This supports the quads and glutes separately and provides compression to reduce muscle fatigue as well as a cooling effect. The core system stabilizes the short while accommodating the waist and hips for a comfortable fit that stays in place. The waist is held in place with gentle jacquard elastic.

For the first time a felt reasonably comfortable on distance road cycling. These shorts are worth the money to me and provide more than adequate support and comfort. I opted for large (5:10, 160 lbs). They feel tighter than LG large but are not constricting. The chamois makes all the difference, although it does feel bulky when not in the saddle.Follow up: Just bought another pair. The first pair have held up well with no seam separation or chamois degradation. Paid more this time however! Not on sale!!
