Pearl Izumi Men's Ride Divide Cycling Shorts - Comfortable & Breathable for Road & Mountain Biking | Perfect for Training & Long Rides

I bought these to replace an older pair of Pearl Izumi bike shorts that I've had for many years and are starting to get worn out. I like that the liner can be separated from the outer shell. They're comfortable. I was surprised at how long they are - off the bike, the legs of the shell come right below the knees, and I'm on the tall side. (Obviously, when you're in the saddle, they will ride up slightly.) Otherwise, they fit pretty well. I suspect a shorter person might find them a little too long, though. I think the only thing I don't like about these is the lack of pockets. This pair only has one side pocket, compared to my older shorts which had 3 pockets (one on each side and one in the back). It's good enough to carry maybe a cell phone and an ID, but that's about it. The pocket does have a zipper closure. Overall, I like them, but I think a second pocket would make me love them.I returned these. Fabric feels bulletproof. The sizing is insane. I am a medium, have always been, these came halfway down my calves. The color I purchased is also nowhere near the sandy gold/yellow shown, but more of a very light gray. I felt like I was wearing an XXL. had to send back.I purchased the belgian block color which appears yellow on the website, but in reality is a light grey. I usually wear size 36 waist pants and these claim to fit to 37.5, but they are too small in the waist. They also hang down a good few inches below my knee cap and actually overlap my knee while pedaling which is super annoying. The foam pad in the liner is thin and does no good. The shorts I received have different black stripes as well.
